I'm a fully-registered clinical pharmacist prescriber, with over 25 years of professional NHS experience.
I have carried out postgraduate work at Keele University several times over the last few years, having completed my independent pharmacist prescriber training there in 2016.
I've completed my lip filler masterclass & advanced aesthetics masterclass training with Derma Medical in London in 2017.
I've undergone foundation, advanced & advanced masterclass training in botulinum toxin & dermal fillers & have also completed medical practitioner training to provide the Perfect Peel.
This now allows me to provide a full range of aesthetic treatments for clients, including specialised non-surgical rhinoplasty (nose re-shaping), tear trough work & jawline contouring.
In 2019, I completed further advanced Masterclass lip augmentation training with the world-renowned Julie Horne. Based at the Eger Skin Clinic in Oslo, Norway, Julie is an aesthetics nurse & lip injection specialist.
She is a master instructor for Restylane & provides specialist lip augmentation training to carry out her signature 'Keyhole lips' treatment.
Creation & maintenance of natural-looking lips is her speciality.
I'm very proud to now be one of a handful of advanced lip augmentation specialists in the UK trained to the highest level to provide natural-looking lip treatments for my clients across northern England.
In 2020, I became a member of the Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC). This is to help identify & manage aesthetics complications, to improve my practice & to ultimately improve safety & outcome for my patients.
In 2022, I finally managed to train with Dr Tom van Eijk- world specialist in injectable dermal filler & toxin treatments. The training provided an in-depth insight in to patient assessment & treatment to solve a range of aesthetic problems logically, safely & effectively. Injection techniques taught included the Fern pattern, tenting & Palma injection techniques.
The masterclass training was based at the Tom van Eijk Academy in Amsterdam, Netherlands where Tom is based. I trained with a group of advanced practitioners from around the world, including Spain, Belgium & the United States & it was a pleasure to learn & make friends with this group of like-minded individuals.

In 2022, I also finally managed to train with another fantastic Dutch expert- Dr Leonie Schelke- world specialist in using facial ultrasound scanning technology. The education & training covered:

using ultrasound scanning (USS) to carry out vascular mapping- to identify the variable tissue anatomy in different patients' faces
-
using the above information to safely & effectively plan & carry out filler & toxin treatments
-
using USS to guide live injections as accurately as possible, for both normal aesthetic treatment, but also to carry out filler dissolution treatment electively and in emergency situations
Leonie is part of a team of experts & researchers based at the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam University, Netherlands. This is the only outpatient clinic in the world devoted to assessing & treating filler complications.
She also provides worldwide facial aesthetic ultrasound scanning education & training via her company, Cutaneous.
